Nigerian meat pies are all shades of tasty and yummy! You can never go wrong with using meat pies for mid day snacks.😋

 

I started making meat pies since I was 10. 😉

  So you guys can imagine how good I am in making meat pies. *bashes eyelashes* Yassssss! All thanks to my mommy. 😤 L O L. Meat pies can either be very good or very bad. There are no in between.  I really don't like taking snacks I didn't make myself, no matter how hungry I get. I'll just make do with gala or biscuits. So I don't fall prey of Bad meat pies. It just doesn't happen.😊

YUMMY COCONUT RICE!!!

Hello Foodie Fam!

Coconuts has been one of my favourite fruit since childhood, my mom especially transferred her love of coconuts to her children. And we quickly grabbed it! No time! So always count me in when anything 'coconuty' comes up! *wide grin!

The love for coconuts in my house has upgraded! So much that the only bread we eat is Captain Cook's Coconut Bread! Yasss! Thanks to their numerous sales outlets (who else has noticed this nice marketing strategy??) one is opposite my house sef, we go juz stroll and buy coconut bread begin chow.

So as my darling Manager celebrated her birthday, I decided to step up my coconut game by preparing this coconut rice recipe I'm about to share with you guys!  You can thank me larrrrrraaa! *shinesteeth*

were told Jollof rice has finished. These are heartbreaking statements that may probably be the cause of world war 3. Let's take a minute silence in advance to the grumbling stomach that will hear these words in an Owambe this weekend! LOL

 Anytime I'm in charge of FOOD and drinks in an owambe! I feel on top of the world ehn! Such power is likened to me having the keys to ALL the nuclear weapons in the world! *bosslady fun rara mi! -_-

Ewedu soup is one of the most popular Nigerian soups among the Yorubas. Little wonder when I was serving

in Abakaliki, I couldn't find it to buy to prepare, but there's a life saving bukateria where it's being sold with Amala. I go there anytime I want to get a break from Igbo soups and it helps to remind my taste buds of what home tastes like! 

Ewedu soup has lots of benefits to offer, it's highly nutritious and can even aid in weight loss. It is very easy to prepare and you can go ahead to use a whisk, hand or Jug blender, instead of the crude ways of using Ijabe. Lol, my momma must not hear me say this!

This Gbegiri soup has caused enough commotion in my life! LOL. This finger licking amazing jaw dropping tasty bean soup mixed with Ewudu and Buka stew on top Amala can do wonders in your life! For real tho.
