No cross that, Chubby ladies always face this wahala, cos even if the only thing you've taken is a cup of water your stomock will just protrude in its glory, staring at you in the face, while Slim ladies who are the main culprit and can even eat a whole house including the bungalow are just shouting #TeamFlatBelly. Flaunting it upandan.  Hian.

So because I'm a good person *shines teeth. I wanna share some tips that got me right back in shape. Yeah. I can say that too. *snaps fingers. It's not Heezy oh, don't lemme lie. This thing requires hard core discipline. But with God on your side, no big stomock will stand in the way of your glory, can I get an Amen??

Some refer to it as ''Donuts'' while some call it ''Doughnuts'' they are both correct tho, personally, I think 'Donuts' are just the normal doughnuts that have gotten an MSc in the abroad.  Shebi? :p

TO COOK OR NOT TO COOK

Abimbola Omole
It's been a while here tho! Life after NYSC has been....... great! ☺ All thanks to the Most High God.
There's been lots of controversies as to why a woman should COOK for her husband! This argument dominated Twitter in the past few weeks. You'll be seeing lots of derogatory comments flying up and down, and it'll make you realise that these home training of a thing ehn, no be all of us get am.
This platform isn't an extension of the debate oh, and me I'm not a relationship expert to give marriage advice. That's not my calling. Is Food I know. I just feel that as a responsible young woman, you should know better.
Cooking is one of my hobbies, I enjoy it a lot. Especially when I'm trying a new recipe. I wasn't always like this tho. I learned it during my NYSC days in Abakalili from my Awesome Big sister from Akwa Ibom. She made me love cooking. And I even learned how to cook some of their soups and soupies.. You know Akwa Ibom people can cook water and make it so oh la la....
 Is not everytime you'll feel like cooking to sef, cos sometimes ehn spending time in the kitchen sometimes feels like drudgery. Today, I wanted to look at a few ways to inject some fun back into the kitchen, so you can prepare home cooked meals for you and yours! So you may as well learn to enjoy it. Here are some tips to get started on preparing your own home-cooked meals ;

STORY TIME!!! ☺☺

Abimbola Omole

It's story time people! So I passed out of NYSC few weeks back and I was just thinking about how God saw me through! This is gonna be a lengthy one so I'd suggest you just grab some popcorn and let's gist.

I remembered the day I checked my NYSC posting, I was in my school's senate building collecting my certificate with my two friends- Oladamola and Simileoluwa though we had earlier done our convocation around december of the previous year, we were in one chamber waiting for it and one guy just rushed in and said- call up letters has been uploaded, you guys can check your postings. Immediately I started having flashbacks images of me pranking my sister and mom, like I'd just shout and say I've checked it and it's Oyo state. And they'll both be excited, until I burst the bubble and tell them I was joking. But this aint no joke.

Natural Healthy Drinks.

Abimbola Omole
Some days you find motivation, other days motivation finds you. I have been shifting ( code name for procastination) this post for weeks! But today, I got the right dosage of motivation I needed! I could not find sleep because of heat. Too much heat. And as if that's not enough, mosquitoes are busy singing anti lullaby choruses for me to NOT sleep! Anyways, back to my food matter..
Recently, the rate at which we dehydrate has tripled! As if there's a 100 degree increase in temperature, they are saying it's global warming. So, we should try to be hydrated at all times to prevent fainting and sorts. Cold water and drinks are now becoming a treasure to behold. I don't hesitate to get cold drinks anytime I come in contact with one, but I realised I over spend and if care is not taken, allowee will finish, not to mention my increase in sugar intake!
I had to do some research and I found some healthy natural drinks that tastes way better than all these sugary stuff we find around. Like. Zobo, kunu, soy milk and of course, fruit juice. They are cost friendly and medicinal too. Zobo aids digestion. I make mine myself and I hope you love them as much as I do! Enjoy!

HOME MADE SNACKS (CHOP CHOP)

Abimbola Omole
HOME MADE SNACKS
There are so many snacks out there we buy ALL THE TIME. I am not saying we shouldn't buy them, but as often as possible we should also learn to make these stuff. They can also be made at home, you can even go funky on them plus you're sure it's healthier. Snacks like pop corn, plantain chips, pancakes, bread rolls, sandwiches, coconut chips, chinchin, cookies and even cakes can be home made.
As you know I always get your back when it comes to chop chop, I did my findings and decided to share these home made recipes. Here you go:

GizDodo (Gizzard + Dodo)

Abimbola Omole
I was just on my own jejely when my taste buds started craving something different. You know how the thing dey be na? and an angel subscribed this awesome food to me.
So I decided to share it with you people. You can thank me larrrrrrraaaa

Gizdodo are coined names for a Nigerian dish prepared with a combination of gizzards and plantains(dodo).
Chicken gizzards are best used for this recipe, but you can also use turkey or duck gizzards. As for plantains, I prefer the yellow ripe plantains, not over ripe ones tho, so you don't end up with a less appealing meal.
GizDodo is also knows as gizzards and dodo, or Gizzdo, you can even come up with your funky name. It's just the normal gizzards and plantain with a yummy special twist. I hope to serve it as an appetizer on my wedding day! Wait on it!! (Lmao)
