BROWN POTATO WITH EGG SAUCE: BREAKFAST INSPIRATION!!!

Abimbola Omole

I have been dulling on Irish potatoes for quite sometime sha, I haven't really thought about it being used for anything else aside meat pie filling. ( Check my meat pie recipe here)  I just found out about its gbaskiness few months ago and since then I have been chopping the life of my head with Irish potatoes.

Do you know that potatoes are quite a pack of nutritional punch ?! They are naturally fat-free, a source of fiber, potassium, salt-free, low in sugar and naturally saturated fat-free! Irish potatoes can offer enough energy for your body and supply enough fuel and energy that make it an ideal choice for people on a diet. As it acts as a rich source of carbohydrates.

Irish potatoes and egg sauce is an ideal and perfect breakfast combination. It is very simple and affordable to make. Irish potatoes is in season now and a basket go for as low as #400 so you can see that it is cost friendly too sha.

YUMMY SMOKED PANLA STEW RECIPE!

Abimbola Omole

Smoked panla stew is one of my favourite buka stew to make! It is one of the most affordable stew to make too. I think a bundle of panla which consists of  4 big fish goes for N500. So you can see that it is very affordable.
The smokey flavor of the fish adds extra taste to the stew and it goes so well with various foods like boiled rice, yam, sweet potato and plain okra, egusi or eforiro to eat swallow.
Me i dont know the english name of panla fish o! so just collect it like that! 😜

7 TIPS FOR A FOOD BLOGGER/LOVER TO STAY IN SHAPE!

Abimbola Omole

Been a while FoodieFam!! Just hit me up on any of my social media platforms and let's catch up πŸ˜šπŸ˜™.

I will not be impressed with technology until I can download food, eat without getting fat! I mean I have not even fulfilled one of my bucket list  of traveling around the world and sampling varieties of food of different countries of the world with za Ozban and I'm starting to gain more weight. *stares at feets* Although, I wouldn't want to sound like a feminist but obviously, women are under a great deal more pressure to be slim than men and we are perceived to be overly concerned about our appearance.

6 TIPS FOR FEEDING WELL DURING ECONOMIC RECESSION.

Abimbola Omole
Happy 2017 FoodieFam!!!

I hope we accomplished all we set out to do last year, if not brace up for this new year and believe anything is possible!

Eating well is very important to one's mental and emotional health, but that doesnt mean you have to spend a fortune on food. Especially now that our economy is facing recession, you tend to eat less quality meals, which affect the quality of our living.

You should know that eating well on the cheap is not all about the cost of food. It is all about limiting unnecessary spending revise shopping habits and focus on healthier choices.
